New Delhi, Aug. 23 -- Delhi Police have registered a case after police personnel were allegedly attacked while they were attempting to locate a suspect in connection with a motorbike-related snatching incident in the Bhalswa area, officials said on Sunday.
The police action came after a video circulated showing some police personnel allegedly being attacked while they were on the trail of a suspect.
According to a senior police official, the personnel had gone to locate the suspect in connection with an incident of snatching involving a motorcycle. While attempting to trace the person associated with the vehicle, the police team was allegedly confronted and attacked by a group of people.
