New Delhi, June 4 -- The Delhi Police's Control Room unit today inducted 32 new Mobile Patrol Vehicles (MPVs) in its fleet, that will be deployed across different districts to improve police response time.

The new vehicles will augment police mobility, expand area coverage, enhance the overall visibility and responsiveness of Police Control Room units, and are also aimed to make people feel more secure.

The Special Commissioner of Police (Delhi), of Special Police Unit for Women and Children, and the Special Police Unit for North Eastern Region (SPUNER) citizens, David Lalrinsanga flagged off these 32 newly inducted PCR mobile units on Wednesday from the Delhi Police Headquarters.
