New Delhi, April 12 -- Delhi's Metro expansion under Phase IV has reached nearly 80 per cent completion, with several key corridors expected to be operational by December 2026, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said after reviewing transport infrastructure projects attended by the senior government and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) officials.

Officials informed the CM that Phase IV has achieved 79.57 per cent physical progress and 80.60 per cent financial progress so far. Key stretches such as Majlis Park to Maujpur, Deepali Chowk to Majlis Park, and Janakpuri West to Krishna Park Extension are already operational.
