New Delhi, May 10 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday announced that the road stretching from Dwarka Mor to Dwarka Sector-10 Market would be named after late Chaudhary Ramkaran Solanki, describing the move as a fitting tribute to a leader widely regarded as a champion of farmers and rural communities.

The announcement was made on the fifth death anniversary of Solanki, a prominent figure across North India who was known for advocating farmers' rights and working for the welfare of rural communities, the poor and underprivileged sections of society.
