New Delhi, June 9 -- : Transport Minister of Delhi, Pankaj Kumar, on Tuesday directed strict disciplinary action against the conductors and/or drivers of Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) if any instance of misbehaviour, harassment, or negligence towards passengers, especially women, elderly citizens, or Divyangjan, is reported.
According to officials, the direction was given by the Minister during a review meeting with Regional Managers (RMs) of the DTC while assessing day-to-day bus operations and boosting the service delivery standards across the national capital.
He further asserted that no passenger should be denied a ride under any circumstances, with special attention to be given to women, senior citizens and Divyangjan passengers....
