New Delhi, June 24 -- Delhi has intensified preparations ahead of the monsoon season, undertaking preventive measures against Dengue and other Vector-Borne Diseases (VBDs) across the national capital.

Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh on Wednesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting on the status and preparedness of Dengue, Malaria, and Chikungunya and directed all departments concerned and the stakeholders to ensure strict implementation of preventive measures to safeguard public health.

During the meeting, the senior officials reviewed the current epidemiological situation, surveillance mechanisms, hospital preparedness, vector-control activities and awareness initiatives being undertaken across Delhi.
