New Delhi, May 22 -- In a major initiative aimed at streamlining and expediting the e-tendering payment ecosystem, the Delhi e-Governance Society (DeGS), which functions under the Department of Information Technology, has officially inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Bank of India (SBI) for the implementation of an integrated e-Payment solution on the state government's e- Procurement Portal.
The agreement introduces a comprehensive digital payment platform termed 'e-Pay', designed to provide enhanced e-banking facilities, seamless digital payment assistance, and comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) support for government procurement operations.
