New Delhi, July 29 -- The Delhi government has issued a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and revised guidelines for the distribution of ad hoc monthly relief (AMR) to Jammu and Kashmir migrant families, setting September 15 as the deadline for beneficiaries to update family records under a one-time amnesty scheme, said officials on Wednesday.
Government officials said that the revised framework aims to simplify the relief process, make it more transparent and ensure timely disbursal of financial assistance to eligible migrant families.
Under the new SOP, all registered migrant families receiving relief until March 2024 have been granted a one-time special amnesty, approved by the Delhi Cabinet in June.
