New Delhi, June 2 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Tuesday said that the Mobile Heat Relief Units, cooling zones and temporary shelters, as well as distribution of clean drinking water, ORS, gamchas and caps are reaching out to thousands of citizens of the national capital amid the extreme weather and heat wave conditions.
She said that her government is running an extensive relief campaign across all 13 districts of the national capital to protect citizens.
According to the CM, since the launch of the mobile heat relief clinics on May 6, a total of 470,089 people have been provided assistance and relief amid extreme weather.
