New Delhi, July 29 -- The Delhi government on Wednesday reviewed the functioning of its hospitals amid the monsoon season and checked preparedness to tackle a possible increase in Dengue, Chikungunya, Malaria and other seasonal diseases.
The meeting focused on medicine availability, emergency preparedness, infrastructure, staffing and bed capacity.
At a meeting chaired by Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, medical superintendents informed officials that over 90% availability of medicines and surgical consumables is being maintained across Delhi government hospitals.
