Hyderabad, Feb. 27 -- Telangana Jagruti President Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday said the Delhi excise policy case was a fabricated case, asserting that the court verdict had vindicated her stand and proved her innocence.
Speaking to the media, Kavitha said she had consistently maintained that the case was false and that she would emerge "like a washed pearl", which had now come true with the court's decision. She thanked the Indian judicial system for quashing what she termed a baseless case and welcomed the clean chit given to all those involved.
Recalling her ordeal, Kavitha said she was separated from her children and family for five-and-a-half months, during which she faced humiliation, pain and character assassination. "No amount of ...
