New Delhi, May 4 -- : In a major crackdown, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has busted an organised racket that was allegedly targeting NEET aspirants and their parents by promising fake MBBS admissions in exchange for large sums of money and sensitive academic documents.
The operation led to the safe rescue of 18 students, including several minors, who were being exploited under the guise of medical college admissions.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said the gang was systematically deceiving families by projecting themselves as facilitators of MBBS seats through illegal means and misusing the aspirations of medical students.
