New Delhi, Aug. 3 -- A Delhi court on Monday acquitted BJP leader and former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Singh in a case alleging the sexual harassment of women wrestlers. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ashwini Panwar of the Rouse Avenue Courts also acquitted co-accused Vinod Tomar.
The court delivered the verdict after reserving its order following detailed arguments from the prosecution, the complainants and the defence. The proceedings were conducted in camera.
