New Delhi, June 9 -- Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav on Tuesday alleged that the recently reported Rs 650 crore medical procurement scam, in which Delhi's Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has registered an FIR over alleged irregularities in the purchase of medicines and medical equipment, highlights systemic issues in the Capital's public healthcare administration.
Addressing a press conference, Yadav claimed that corruption in the health sector had persisted under both the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and the current BJP government. He alleged that procurement-related irregularities and financial mismanagement had adversely affected healthcare services in Delhi.
