New Delhi, May 19 -- The Delhi Congress on Tuesday accused the BJP-led Delhi government of failing to provide justice and financial support to the family of Pandav Kumar, who was allegedly shot dead following a regional slur incident, and warned of citywide protests if action is not taken within 15 days.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary (Organisation) and Communications Department Chairman Anil Bhardwaj demanded Rs 1 crore compensation for the victim's family, a government job for one family member, and a fast-track trial in the case. He also called for a law on the lines of the Nirbhaya Act to ensure stricter action in such crimes.
