New Delhi, July 14 -- The Delhi Congress on Tuesday claimed that its organisational base is expanding, with hundreds of workers and leaders from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and other political parties joining the Congress at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) office at Rajiv Bhawan.
According to a statement issued by the party, the new entrants included district, mandal, municipal and block-level office-bearers from Patparganj, Burari and Adarsh Nagar.
DPCC president Devender Yadav said the Delhi Congress organisation has become stronger and claimed that more people are joining the party because of its ideology and leadership under Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
