New Delhi, July 8 -- : The Delhi Congress on Wednesday criticised the BJP-led Delhi Government over widespread waterlogging following heavy rainfall, alleging that the administration's claims of being fully prepared for the monsoon did not match the ground situation.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav said several roads and localities witnessed severe waterlogging despite the government's assertion that it had identified and taken measures at vulnerable locations to prevent flooding. He claimed that residents in several areas faced traffic congestion, inundated streets and difficulties in commuting after the rains.
