New Delhi, May 20 -- Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Devender Yadav on Wednesday criticised the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Delhi over rising fuel prices and inflation, alleging that repeated hikes in petrol, diesel, and CNG rates have increased the burden on common people.

Yadav said the Delhi government should focus on controlling inflation instead of "symbolic campaigns" such as "Metro Monday." He claimed that repeated increases in fuel prices would have a cascading impact on transportation costs and prices of essential commodities across the country.
