New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Delhi Pradesh Congress chief Devender Yadav on Wednesday appealed to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to provide immediate financial compensation of Rs 2 crore each to the parents of the students who lost their lives in the Satya Niketan PG hostel collapse and Rs 50 lakh each to the injured students.
For the injured, Yadav said it will take several months to recover, get fit, and be ready to resume their studies. The Congress leader said that the deceased students have been identified, while the other two victims, including a laborer and an elderly resident of the area, and their families should also be given Rs 2 crore in financial relief.
