New Delhi, July 7 -- Acting on the directions of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi government has taken a significant and crucial step towards strengthening the protection and promotion of children's rights by reconstituting the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR), which had remained without a chairperson nearly three years.
Through a notification issued by the Department of Women and Child Development, the government has reconstituted the Commission by appointing one Chairperson and four Members.
According to the notification, Om Prakash Vyas has been appointed as the Chairperson of the DCPC, while Rahul Gautam, Kundan Kanskar, Swati Gupta and Monika Sharma have been appointed as Members. These appointments have b...
