Neeraj BaliChandigarh, Sept. 19 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday accused Punjab's ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of failing to tackle the state's drug problem as she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party's "Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra" in Fatehgarh Sahib.

Gupta, who was received by Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon and other party leaders, visited Gurdwara Sri Jyoti Saroop Sahib before joining the BJP's statewide anti-drug campaign. The Fatehgarh Sahib leg is the second of four routes planned by the party.

Speaking to reporters after paying obeisance, Gupta said Punjab and its youth needed to be protected from drugs and called for a collective effort to tackle the problem.
