New Delhi, July 31 -- The Delhi government on Friday took another significant step towards making education more accessible, safer and empowering for girl students through the distribution of bicycles.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta distributed over 3,000 bicycles to Class IX girl students under the 'Vidya Vahini' initiative at a grand programme at the Sports Complex in East Vinod Nagar.
After distributing bicycles, the Delhi Chief Minister, in a post on X, said, "Today, under the 'Vidya Vahini Yojana', handing over bicycles to more than 3,000 daughters brought immense satisfaction.
