New Delhi, March 24 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today presented in the Delhi Assembly annual budget of Rs 1,03,700 crore for the financial year 2026-27, saying this time it is based more on a green approach, focusing on environment protection and overall development of the city by upgrading the infrastructure to give a push to economic growth.
According to CM, the capital expenditure has been increased further to boost infrastructure development across the city.
The CM emphasised that every policy in the budget has taken into account environmental impact, and said that 21 per cent of the total budget has been allocated for "green budget" in support of the environment protection initiatives.
