New Delhi, May 4 -- A cultural programme was held at the Delhi secretariat today to mark Gujarat and Maharashtra Day celebrations, while Minister for Art, Culture and Languages, Kapil Mishra extended greetings on behalf of the state government.
Speaking on the occasion, Mishra said that the people of Gujarat and Maharashtra have made significant contributions to the development of the country and the national capital.
He said that Gujarat is not only culturally and historically rich, but also stands as an important pillar of country's development in economic, industrial, agricultural, and energy sectors.
