New Delhi, July 28 -- The Delhi Cabinet on Tuesday approved the guidelines for the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana, clearing the way for the launch of an online portal on August 1 through which more than 17 lakh eligible women can apply for monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced.
The announcement came after the Cabinet, chaired by Gupta, approved the guidelines for the scheme at a meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat.
The portal will open on August 1, allowing eligible women to submit their applications. The entire application process will be conducted online through the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana Portal, she added, offering a transparent district-level mechanism for the scrutiny of applications, final approval and...
