Delhi Assembly to host committee meeting on uniform rules for legislatures on Oct 27: Speaker

New Delhi, Oct. 25 -- The Delhi Legislative Assembly will host a meeting of the Committee of Presiding Officers, constituted by the Lok Sabha Speaker, to formulate a Uniform Model of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business for Legislative Bodies across the country.

According to Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gutpa, the important meeting will be held on October 27, under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana.

The meeting will bring together Presiding Officers and representatives of the Legislative Assemblies of Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Delhi.
