New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Wednesday said the three-day Monsoon Session recorded a high legislative productivity, with the House tabling three Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, passing four Bills and taking up 52 public issues during 13 hours and 19 minutes of proceedings.

Addressing a press conference after the session concluded, Gupta said the Assembly functioned despite the continued absence of the Leader of Opposition. He also highlighted what he described as an increase in the pace of legislative business, noting that the eighth Delhi Assembly has held six sessions in less than 18 months, compared with five sessions during the entire five-year tenure of the previous Assembly.
