New Delhi, Sept. 8 -- The Delhi Assembly and several schools and government establishments in the national capital received bomb threat emails on Tuesday, prompting security agencies to carry out searches at the affected premises, police said.
The Delhi Assembly Speaker received a bomb threat email at around 8.30 am, following which security personnel conducted a thorough search of the Assembly premises, officials said. No bomb or suspicious object was found during the inspection.
"Police are following protocols to conduct all checks," Delhi Police said.
A bomb blast threat email was also received by Civic Centre security authorities at around 10.11 am and was subsequently shared with Delhi Police, according to the police.
