New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Sirsa on Wednesday said that the state government has so far planted around 40.49 lakh saplings against the target of 70 lakh as part of the national capital's mega plantation drive for the year, under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call.
With this development, the Delhi government has achieved nearly 58 per cent of the plantation target, Sirsa informed.
