New Delhi, June 12 -- The Special Cell of Delhi Police has busted two inter-state illegal arms supply syndicates and arrested six key members allegedly involved in procuring and supplying weapons to gangsters operating in Delhi-NCR.

A total of 26 illegal semi-automatic pistols and eight live cartridges were recovered during the operation, along with six mobile phones, SIM cards and three vehicles used for transporting the firearms.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell-Northern Range) Narra Chaitanya (IPS) said the Special Cell had been continuously working to dismantle arms syndicates active in Delhi and the NCR.
