New Delhi, June 13 -- A delegation representing villages across Delhi today met Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and discussed a range of issues affecting the capital's rural belt, including demolition drives, sealing actions, circle rates, the master plan and development works.

The delegation was led by Palam 360 chief Chaudhary Surender Solanki and included prominent rural leaders from different parts of Delhi.

Speaking after the meeting, Solanki said the delegation apprised the Chief Minister of concerns arising from recent demolition and sealing actions in some areas, stressing that the entire village community should not suffer because of the actions of a few individuals.
