New Delhi, June 17 -- : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday hailed India's growing self-reliance in military manufacturing after the country's annual defence production touched a record Rs 1.78 lakh crore in the financial year 2025-26.
Sharing the achievement on X, Singh said the milestone reflected the success of policy measures undertaken under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the collective efforts of the Department of Defence Production, public sector enterprises and private industry.
