New Delhi, Sept. 1 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday called upon India's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to invest a portion of their turnover in research and development (R&D) and technology upgradation, while building partnerships with academic and research institutions to emerge as globally competitive enterprises and contribute to the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
Addressing an MSME event in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Singh said India's development vision requires the country to become globally competitive in manufacturing, a leader in technology and innovation, and self-reliant in strategic and economic capabilities.
