Lucknow, May 29 -- Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow is all set to get a new tourism and heritage attraction on May 30 with the inauguration of Nausena Shaurya Vatika, an open-air naval museum featuring decommissioned naval assets, military equipment and interactive displays designed to showcase the history and achievements of the Indian Navy.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the facility near Gate No. 5 of the Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium.

The biggest attraction at the Vatika will be INS Gomti, the Indian Navy frigate that served the country for nearly three decades before being decommissioned in 2022.
