Chennai, April 19 -- Coming down heavily on the ruling DMK and accusing it of involved in illegal sand quarrying and deteriorating law and order situation, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said the Deepam would be lit atop the Thiruparankundram temple once the NDA comes to power after the Assembly elections, which is just three days away.
Speaking while campaigning for BJP candidates Ananthan Ayyanathan and Balakrishnan at Vasudevanallur-Reserved and Radhapuram constituencies in the southern Tenkasi district, during road shows from an open vehicle, Rajnath Singh said the deepam would be definitely lit as per the court orders.
