Chennai, Sept. 15 -- The Crime Branch-CID (CBCID) Wing of the Tamil Nadu has arrested a key accused in Rajasthan for circulating AI generated Deep Fake video with Hindi audio, impersonating Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and shared on purportedly Pakistan-based Facebook IDs and other social media platforms with an intention to cheat the people.
The accused, Shyabu Khan (28) of Alwar, was arrested with the assistance of Rajasthan Police. Mobile phones, SIM cards and a CPU allegedly used in the offence were seized from him.
