Chennai, Sept. 23 -- Even as the Deep Depression over the Westcentral and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal will move west-northwestwards and is set to cross the North Andhra and South Odisha coasts close to Kalingapatnam tonight, rainfall occurred atisolated places over Tamil Nadu with the Northern districts including Chennai and neighbouring districts and the Western Ghatregions set to get rains till September 29.
Isolated places in Chennai city and suburbs, besides the adjoining districts have been experiencing light to moderate rains during evenings and nights, and the wet spell will continue for the next three days, Met office said in a latest update on Wednesday.
