Bengaluru, May 19 -- Deccan Gold Mines Limited on Tuesday announced a significant discovery of nickel-copper-platinum group elements (Ni-Cu-PGE) mineralisation at its Bhalukona Composite Licence area in Chhattisgarh, with the company saying the find could pave the way for India's first nickel-copper-PGE mine.

The company said its maiden drilling campaign at the Bhalukona-Jamnidih licence area in Mahasamund district has confirmed extensive sulphide mineralisation hosted within a layered mafic intrusive complex spread across a prospective 700-metre strike zone.
