Srinagar, June 23 -- BJP National General Secretary, Rajya Sabha MP and J&K in-charge Tarun Chugh on Tuesday demanded that the report and facts surrounding the death of Syama Prasad Mukherjee be made public, while asserting that Jammu and Kashmir's statehood would be restored soon in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment.
Speaking to reporters after paying tributes to Mukherjee on his Balidan Diwas, Chugh said the circumstances surrounding the Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder's death in Jammu and Kashmir in 1953 continue to raise questions.
