New Delhi, July 19 -- As the city is now more active towards increasing and preserving its green cover with the ongoing plantation drives, in line with the same, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has also made significant progress under the guidance of LG Taranjit Singh Sandhu, as the land agency is also running a mega plantation drive across city.
Under DDA's initiative for tree plantation, it has already planted over 6.62 lakh saplings within a few days, that comprise of more than 37 thousand trees, and over 6.25 lakh shrubs, achieving nearly 30 per cent of its overall target, which is of 23 lakh saplings.
