New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Saturday stated that right after taking charge as Lieutenant Governor, Taranjit Singh Sandhu instructed all departments to be more responsive, efficient and ensure citizen-centric governance to achieve the goal of Viksit Delhi.
In preliminary meetings with the DDA top officials, the LG had specifically directed to proactively look into citizen's complaints and grievances and address them expeditiously.
This has significantly improved the grievance redressal mechanism with the DDA remarkably reducing the pendency by over 85 per cent, from a total of 22,946 at the beginning of this year to 3,167 at the end of June.
