Chandigarh, June 2 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Raman Arora appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Jalandhar on Tuesday for questioning in connection with a money laundering investigation linked to an alleged disproportionate assets case.
Arora, who represents the Jalandhar Central Assembly constituency, reached the ED office around 11 am in response to a summons issued by the central agency. He remained inside the office for nearly nine hours before leaving after the questioning concluded. Officials recorded his statement under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), sources said.
