Nagpur, June 12 -- Observing that a criminal dangerous to society has no right to live independently, the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court rejected the bail plea of a history-sheeter accused in multiple serious offences.
The Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court clarified this while rejecting the bail plea of an accused in a murder case.
The accused whose bail plea was rejected has been identified as Swapnil Chandrakant Kashikar, a resident of Chandrapur.
Kashikar is a former district chief of the Shiv Sena transport wing and has several serious criminal cases registered against him.
He is accused of murdering contractor Shiva Vazharkar. The incident took place on January 25, 2024.
