Kochi, March 28 -- Ravichandran Purushothaman has been elected Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region for 2026-27, marking a significant leadership transition aimed at strengthening industrial growth and sustainability across southern India.
Purushothaman, who serves as President of Danfoss India, brings over three decades of industry experience. Under his leadership, the company has witnessed substantial expansion, growing to 4,000 employees, establishing four Global Competence Centres and operating six factories.
