Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh), July 15 -- Dalmia Bharat Limited on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for its second manufacturing unit in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 3,100 crore.
The foundation stone was laid in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information Technology Nara Lokesh, Dalmia Bharat Managing Director and CEO Puneet Dalmia, senior government officials, and company executives.
In a release, the company said the project will establish a next-generation integrated manufacturing facility designed to produce one of the world's greenest cements. The investment is part of the expansion plans announced by the company in 2025.
