Dharamshala, June 5 -- Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama departed Dharamshala for Delhi on Friday morning to undergo medical treatment for his left knee.
Following his recovery, the Dalai Lama is expected to travel to Ladakh toward the end of June for an extended stay.
Enroute from his residence to Kangra Airport, hundreds of devotees-including Tibetan monks, nuns, laypeople, and school children-lined the roadside at various points.
