Hyderabad, April 2 -- The Cybercrime Police, Cyberabad, detected 17 cybercrime cases and arrested 19 offenders across multiple states between March 25 and 31, 2026, highlighting the pan-India network of cybercriminal activities.

A police statement on Thursday said trading fraud accounted for the majority of cases, with 11 cases leading to 12 arrests. Other cases included digital arrest fraud (2 cases, 3 arrests), part-time job fraud (2 cases, 2 arrests), and job fraud (2 cases, 2 arrests).

In a significant achievement, the Cybercrime Police secured 884 refund orders in 125 cases from courts, facilitating the return of Rs 4.35 crore to victims.
