Patna, Oct. 6 -- Bihar Art and Culture Minister Pramod Kumar on Tuesday directed the Cyber Police to conduct a detailed probe into a controversial Bhojpuri song allegedly containing casteist and obscene content and take action in accordance with law.

The minister directed cyber police officials to thoroughly examine the song and preserve all relevant electronic evidence linked to its circulation.

Kumar said folk songs and music were an integral part of Bihar's rich cultural tradition and should serve as a positive expression of society and its cultural heritage.
