Dharamshala, June 4 -- The Dehra district police have successfully facilitated the recovery and refund of Rs 2 lakh lost in a cyber fraud case, highlighting their proactive approach towards tackling the growing menace of online financial crimes.
Dehra district superintendent of police Mayank Chaudhary told UNI that the continuous vigilance and swift action through the National Cyber Helpline 1930 and the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal have enabled effective intervention against cyber criminals.
Timely technical investigation and coordination with banks have played a key role in curbing cyber offences.
