Dharamshala, July 1 -- Dr. Sachin Upmanyu, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Plant Sciences at the School of Life Sciences, Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), has been nominated as a Member of the Society of the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, for a three-year term.
The WII Society is the apex governing body of the premier national institute for wildlife research, biodiversity conservation, capacity building and policy support. It comprises policymakers, Members of Parliament, senior government officials, eminent scientists, academicians and conservation experts.
